Hello there, just wanted to let Mr. Johnson know that I received his book "photographic reference" on the DLV, NSFK Diplomat dagger and so forth as a gift this weekend from a relative and this book is absolutely breathtaking, I've been a collector for 15 years and I have several of his books and this one is by far the most beautiful books I've seen , I had never seen the Red Cross Hewer or the Teno dagger in use so it was quite a treat, thank you for all you have done for the hobby during your lifetime! I wish I could find words that would sincerely express my feelings for you and the entire JRB & M team. During the last 25 years that Bettie and I have known and worked with you we have never been disappointed in any of our dealings. In recent years I have purchased a few expensive items and you have always found a way to help me make the purchase. I refer this as “your trust” in me. When you did not have an item I needed you would always find it for me. I can only say “THANK YOU” for being a thoughtful and understanding friend and a great historian for our hobby.
I want to also thank you for the Third Reich Army manual. It was quite a surprise to receive it in the mail. It is now proudly presented in my collection of daggers.
