Imperial Navy Dagger Portepee.
Portepees were obtained from a former worker at the Luneburg Co. in Kiel. This worker, who has no connections in the collecting community, stated that they are absolutely original and period produced. Upon examining the portepees under a black light, it was discovered that some of the threads in the acorn dot failed the black light test; however, as experienced collectors are aware, florescent type threads of this type were used prior to/during WWII, and this type of test is not 100% fool-proof. Miniature Third Reich Dagger Portepee/Watch Fob.

Miniature Dagger/Sword/Bayonet Portepee Acorn.
These original gilted lead acorns are designed to attach to the strap/cord of our miniature portepee (#7859). MINT (17233) $5.@

These portepees are assembled from original materials by a major supplier of edged weapon accouterments to the Third Reich and still in operation today. The portepees are in MINT, unissued condition and the same quality as the originals. When other competitors/dealers criticize these replacement portepees for not being the real thing, ask them to sell you the originals. In some cases, the originals are non-existent. For example, we have sold only two (2) original Red Cross Officer dagger portepees and only three (3) original Postal dagger portepees in the past thirty-five years! Conversely, we have sold several thousands of these replacement portepees and have yet to have a single one returned-- the quality speaks for itself.

Early Quality Post-War Assembled 1938 Bahnschutz (Railway) Portepee.

Rare Finnish Navy & Coast Artillery Dagger Portepee. A photograph of this rare portepee appears on page 102 of World of Dress Daggers 1900 - 1945 by Robert Berger. Used portepee, measuring 40.5cm in total length, features a gilt bullion strap with black zigzag, center stripe, gilt slide and stem with matching stripe and gilt crown, acorn and acorn insert. Unissued Royal Italian Air Force NCO/CWO Sword Portepee.
This ultra-rare sword portepee features a blue/gold striped cord, gold bullion stem, crown, acorn and bottom core. Portepee was used during the period 1933 – 1943. Attached to the portepee are the original factory paper and metal tags. Paper tag is marked, “Unione Militare” with a pattern number “33122” and “Lire 12”. Metal tag is embossed on the obverse with, “U” and on the reverse with, “M” (Unione Militare). Ultra-rare portepee in MINT/unissued condition with both factory tags! MINT, Unissued (19386) $350.

Swedish Air Force Dagger Portepee.
These portepees are correct for the 1930 or 1952 model Swedish Air Force dagger and features a gilt/black cord and stem with gilt crown/acorn and black acorn center. First time offered. MINT (17977) $55.@

Factory Sample Hausmüster Police Bayonet Knots.
$150.00@ These knots were produced by the firm of M. Maurer of Vienna, Austria for submission to the Police Procurement Office (Polizeibeschaffungsamt) for approval. Unless otherwise stated, knots are complete with heavy cardboard tags stamped with name and address of the Vienna Police Procurement Office with a handwritten notation that the knots are “In Ordnung” (meet regulation standards). Also attached to each strap is a cord with a maker marked metal tag. The following knots are available:

• A. Police Officer bayonet knot (black leather strap w/silver/red/silver lines, small bullion crown/acorn)
• B. Police NCO bayonet knot (black leather strap w/silver/red/silver lines, small bullion/green crown/acorn)

These unissued knots were produced by the firm of M. Maurer of Vienna and are complete with metal maker marked tags secured by heavy cord. Knots feature black leather straps with silver/red/silver lines, large aluminum bullion crown/acorn with red/silver/black corded acorn core. The following knots are available:

Fire Official Bayonet/Sword Knot w/Tags. Unissued knot features black leather strap with three silver bullion lines, silver bullion stem/crown/acorn, with carmine/red acorn insert. Attached to the strap are two original tags with handwritten notations, "415 Al. Feuerw. Klein" (415 Fire Department, Small) indicating the knot had the small acorn.
