NEW!"Zeppelin-Weltfahrten" Cigarette Card Album.Softbound, German text, 106 pages, black & white photographs, 1932. This rare album features a photograph of the "Graf Zeppelin" on the cover and features 264 cigarette card photos covering the entire history of the Zeppelin from the first airship in 1899 through the Graf Zeppelin (LZ 127) in 1932. Album features a beautiful picture of Ferdinand Graf Zeppelin, as well as pictures of the staterooms and living quarters found on the Zeppelins. Album also has photographs made during the Zeppelins worldwide tour (North and South America, Europe, and Asia). Cover shows light wear/age and minor water staining, but no damage to the photographs. "Deutschland Erwacht" Cigarette Card Album. Hardbound,150 pages, color/black & white photographs, 1933, published by Cigaretten=Bilderdienst Altona=Bahrenfeld. Light brown fabric cover, showing only faint age with no rips or tears, is embossed in gold w/storm trooper's head as well as the title. "Deutschlang erwacht". Album is complete (no photos missing) and includes many outstanding photos of Hitler and other high-ranking Third Reich officials. The album is complete with the often missing or damaged 50 ½" long fold-out of the 1933 Nürnberg Party Day Rally. Near Mint with no wear or damage to the embossed gold letters. (25937) $225.

Ornate Presentation Imperial Hunting/Forestry Desk-Top Photograph Album. This superb, one-of-a-kind, album was presented to Oberforstmeister Srhede on 01 October 1897. The album measures 10 3/4W X 13 ¾"L X 2 ½" thick and features padded black leather covers which show virtually no wear/age and no rips, tears or scuffs. The front cover features four 1 ¼" diameter silver rosettes with raised floral motifs flanking a central silver presentation plaque within an ornate silver frame. The frame is comprised of oak leaves/branches, crossed rifles, hunting game bag and hunting horn surmounted by a hunting dog head flanked by antlers. The plaque is inscribed in script and Gothic letters, "Herrn Oberforstmeister Srhede in dankbarer Verehrung die Beamten der Inspection Marienwerder - Konitz. 1.Juli 1891 - 1. October 1897." (Herrn Oberforstmeister Srhede in grateful admiration from the Inspection Officials Marienwerder - Konitz. 1.July 1891 - 1.October 1897.) Both the silver frame and plaque retain virtually 100% of the frosted factory finish.The rear cover features four plain raised studs which support the album when placed on a table/desk top. The inside front and rear covers are covered in gold damask fabric and secured by a heavy silver, hinged clamp. The interior of the album is comprised of six, heavy, gilt-edged, 3/16'" thick, cardboard plates that are slotted to hold 6 5/8" X 8 ¾" black and white photographs of the officials of the Marienwerder - Konitz. Hunting/Forestry Association. Each photograph features 8 to 11 officials in double-breasted tunics, straight trousers and fedora-style hunting hats. Several hunting/forestry hirschfängers are visible in the photographs. One plate is without a photograph. Marienwerder is located approximately 40km NE of Berlin. Personalized Luftwaffe Service Photo Album. Marbleized-hardboard covered album with red leather corners and hubbed spine measuring 9 3/8" x 7 ½" contains 110 black & white photographs covering the Luftwaffe service of Klaus von Marnitz from 20 November 1941 thru 01 April 1944. The album features photographs of garrison service, off-duty time, parades and other activities, at 1st Company, Flyer Training Regiment 16 and later pilot training at Berlin-Gatow. Also included in the album are original copies of Herr von Marnitz's personnel records to include instrument flight training qualification dated 03 October 1943. Many photos of Herr von Marnitz and fellow Luftwaffe personnel in various Luftwaffe dress, duty and flight uniforms. Superb Luftwaffe photo album complete with owners documentation. "Das Reichsheer und Seine Tradition" Cigarette Card Album. Softbound, German text, 44 cardstock pages, 328 color cigarette card illustrations, published by HAUS NEUERBURG WALDORF-ASTORIA + ECKSTEIN-HALPAUS, no publication date. Large, 13 ½" X 14" format book features a large, stylized, black/gold, crowned eagle with a black Iron Cross within a black/white/red shield on its chest on the front cover. The 328 captioned, colored cards depict Infantry, Cavalry, Field Artillery, Engineer and other units of the Reichsheer along side the former Imperial German Army from which the Reichsheer units traced their lineage. Softbound, German text, 64 pages, color photographs, 1936, published by Cigaretten- Bilderdienst Dresden. Light Field Gray cover features an embossed 88mm gun crew in action above the title of album. Album features 270 captioned color cards depicting all phases of life and training in the Army (Heer), Navy (Kriegsmarine), and Air Force (Luftwaffe). Superb reference.

“Olympia 1936” (Winter, Vol. I) Cigarette Card Album.
Hardbound, German text, 127 pages, black & white photographs, 1936, published by Cigaretten- Bilderdienst Hamburg-Bahrenfeld. Album covers the events of the Winter Olympics held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen 06-16 February 1936. Features photograph cards of the victors, to include the famous Norwegian figure skater Sonja Henie. Also included is a section on the Summer Olympics to be held in Berlin in August 1936. Album includes a 33” fold-out of the Berlin Olympic site. No missing photographs.

Album without dust cover features the events of the Summer Olympics held in Berlin 01 – 16 August 1936. Features photograph card of the victors, to include the famous U.S. athlete Jesse Owens. “Olympia 1936” (Summer, Volume II) Cigarette Card Album. Hardbound, without dust jacket, German text, 165 pages, black & white photographs, 1936, published by Cigaretten-Bilderdienst Hamburg-Bahrenfeld. Dark blue fabric cover is embossed in gold with a gold Olympic bell with black eagle holding the five Olympic rings. Album covers the events of the Summer Olympics held in Berlin 01-13 August 1936 (the last Summer Olympics before the beginning of WW II). Features photograph cards of the victors, to include the famous American track star, Jesse Owens. This was also the Olympics in which Hermann Fegelein, later commander of the 8th SS-Cavalry Division "Florian Geyer", participated as a member of the German equestrian team. Near MINT (25629) $225.

Album, with light brown cover, with illustration of Olympic rings above the Brandenburg Gate, covers both winter and summer Olympic games in one volume. "Orden" Cigarette Card Album.
Album features, in color, medals and decorations from all of the Royal houses of Imperial Germany. Cover of book is bright yellow with Pour le Merite (Blue MAX) in blue in the center. Artwork is by famous artist Paul Casberg. Published circa 1930; German text; 100% complete.

“Uniformen der Alten Armee" Cigarette Card Album. Softbound, German text, 48 pages with color illustrations. Published by Waldorf Astoria Cigaretten Fabrik G.m.b.H, München. Album features a red cover with album title inside gilt oak leaf wreath surrounded by gilt border. Inside front cover is signed, "Major Fischer, München, 17.9.1932". Album features 312 captioned color cards depicting all units/uniforms of the Imperial German Army. The first 18 pages provide an organization chart, by unit, of the Army Corps & Divisions within the German Army, to include the Saxon, Wurttemberg & Bavarian Army units. “Uniformen der Marine und Schutztruppen” Cigarette Card Album. Softbound, German text, 24 pages, color photographs, published by Waldorf Estoria Cigarette Company. Album features dark blue cover with album title inside gilt oak leaf wreath surrounded by gilt border. Included are charts detailing the divisions and stations within the Imperial Navy, Marine-Infantry, and Colonial troops, as well as silhouette illustrations and data on the various classes of ships in the Imperial Navy. Album includes 96 captioned color cards illustrating the various uniforms of the Imperial Navy (48 cards), Marine-Infantry (12 cards), and Colonial troops (36 cards). "Unser Familien Buch" Album. Hardbound, loose-leaf, German text, 1 1/8" thick, divided into 58 sections, published by the NSDAP Reichbund Deutsche Familie. Album features dark red fabric cover with printed off-white eagle and "Unser Familien Buch" in block letters on cover. Book includes sections for family histories of mother, father, and ancestors, military service, membership in NSDAP organizations, with pages for photographs and documents in each section. Imperial Hussar Photo Album.
Album measures 6" x 7". Blue leatherette covering. Has a picture of a German Hussar blowing a bugle on horseback. Very colorful. At the top is the embossed German flag with "Album" written at the bottom in gold. No pictures are present. Shows some mild discoloration to edge. Very nice example! Exc++ (11592) $85.

Kriegsmarine Service Photo Album. Padded fabric-covered album measuring 10 ½" x 7 ½" features approximately 48 black & white photographs of Naval Officers including Admiral Raeder as well as many photographs of the Naval facilities at Kiel/Ellersbeck on the North Sea. Photographs cover many activities including ships at anchor, crane operations, and factory operations to include maintenance of heavy Navy guns. Album also includes photographs of capital ships at sea as well as smaller coastal craft. Album shows only light surface wear/age to the cover and is complete with onion skin protective sheets. Military Service Photo Album. This extensive Army album features off-white pressed board covers with brown leatherette spine in corners showing wear primarily to edges of spine and corners. Album contains approximately 280 photographs of Army garrison and field life beginning in July 1942 at Siegen located Northwest of Frankfurt. Photographs cover off-duty and military activities of a young Mounted Field Artillery soldier. Superb photographs of uniforms, horses/equipment, as well as occupation duty in France. Feldgrau linen-covered album measuring 10 ½" x 7 ½" containing 47 black & white photographs features a silver impressed eagle/swastika in the upper left corner above the inscription,"3. Komp. Inf.-Rgt. 29". Infantry Regiment 29 was garrisoned at Guben located southeast of Berlin on the Polish border. Album features many photographs of training exercises, garrison formations and parades and many excellent photographs of uniforms and equipment. Fabric covered album contains 88 black and white photographs mostly related to Luftwaffe operations and off-duty activities. Included is a photograph of a pilot drinking from his Honor goblet as well as an office scene with a Luftwaffe standard in full view. Early Military Service Photo Album. Feldgrau linen-covered album measuring 10 ½" x 7 ½" containing 110 black & white photographs features a silver impressed eagle/swastika in the upper left corner above the inscription, "13.(i.G.)Komp. Inf.-Rgt. 62" (13th Infantry Howitzer Company, Infantry Regiment 62). Infantry Regiment 62 was garrisoned in Longschutt northeast of Munich. Album features many photographs of training exercises, to include field marches with the horse-drawn Howitzers. Many interesting photographs of the pre-1936 field blouse worn with mounted equipment. The original owner, Obergefreiter Schnapser is shown in pre-1936 uniform along with his horse, "Pandur". Superb early Army photo album complete with cardboard protective sleeve. Inf.-Rgt. 35" (12th Machine Gun Company, Infantry Regiment 35). Infantry Regiment 35 was garrisoned at Tübingen located southeast of Stuttgart. Album features many photographs of training exercises to include field marches with the horse-drawn machine gun caissons. Many interesting photographs of mounted activities as well as training maneuvers with the machine gun. Superb photo album complete with cardboard protective sleeve. Early Military Service Photo Album. Feldgrau linen covered album measuring 10 ½" x 7 ½" containing 60 black & white photographs features a silver impressed eagle/swastika in the upper left corner of the front cover. Most of the photographs in the album cover the period 26 August - 25 October 1935 and include photographs of garrison duty and training exercises of the 2nd Company Reserve Battalion 34 garrisoned in Eichstätt located northwest of Munich. The last four pages of the album contain photographs of a young soldier who progressed from Unteroffizier to Leutnant with a superb 1938 photograph of the Leutnant in field service uniform with Gebergsjager style field cap. Military Service Memorial Photo Album. Dark brown padded leatherette album measuring 12 ½" x 9" features silver-colored metal Stahlhelm with raised eagle/swastika in the upper left corner with the inscription, "R.J.R. 122" (Reserve Infantry Regiment 122) stamped in silver in the lower right corner. Album contains 36 black & white photographs covering the 1925, 1933, 1935, 1940, 1960, and 1965 veteran reunions of Reserve Infantry Regiment 122. Photographs show group gatherings as well as a 1935 memorial service and large parade in Reutlingen (south of Stuttgart). Rare veteran album from a Wurttemberg Reserve Regiment. SOLD! Unnisued Military Service "Ehren = Chronik" Photo Album. This superb, unissued photograph album was recently obtained from the estate of WWII, 28th Infantry Division veteran, Ernest Horrmann. Black, pebbled leatherette album measuring 9" x 12" features a black and silver stamped facsimile of a 1939 Iron Cross on the upper center of the front cover with the inscription, "Ehren = Chronikt" stamped in silver gothic letters in the lower center. Album consists of 24 pages of black/white photographs of Third Reich military leaders, the German entry into Austria, Czechoslovakia, Memel, Danzig, Warsaw, the French campaign, victory parade in Paris, aircraft over Berlin, action in the Balkans as well as illustrations of military medals/decorations; 18 pages to list camrades, dates of service, awards, wounds and personal information; 8 heavy, gray cardboard pages complete with protective onionskin between pages for mounting photographs and 11 pages for genealogical entries. Leatherette is perfect with no wear to the Iron Cross or inscription on the front cover. Superb, unissued "Honor = Album". Note: Album is WITHOUT photos. MINT (24366) $145.

NSDAP Yearbook - 1940. Hardbound, German text, 520 pages, black & white photographs and color illustrations, published 1940 by Zentralverlag der NSDAP., Franz Cher Nachf., München. Small book measuring 4" X 6 ½" features red cloth covers with short-winged, NSDAP eagle above "Nationalsozialistisches Jarbuch 1940" in white letters on cover and spine. The book includes a 1940 calendar/diary with hand written entries for each day as well a color illustrations of NSDAP uniforms and collar tabs extracted from the larger NSDAP Organization Book. Also included are listings of officials in various NSDAP organizations to include: Gauleiters, SA, SS, NSKK, RAD, HJ and NSFK leaders as well a many interesting period advertisements. NSKK-Motorsturm 1/M156 Tagebuch (Journal). This large 8 ½" x 13" hardbound journal/photo album containing approximately 130 pages covers the activities of NSKK-Motorsturm 1/M156, Konstanz (located on Lake Constance in southern Germany) for the years 1931 - 1940. Album features many photographs of officers and men of the Motorsturm in parades, training activities, and organizational functions. Photographs provide detailed look at NSKK uniforms, to include edged weapons, as well as insignia and accouterments. NOTE: Portions of some pages have been cut out (possibly as a late-war or occupation period effort to protect the identities of certain individuals). Rare, one-of-a-kind journal with much hand lettering and original artwork provide an interesting look at the daily life of the NSKK during the pre- & early-war years.
