SS M-43 One-Piece Panzer Field Cap Insigne. As
stated on page 458 of Cloth Insignia of the SS by
LTC (Ret.) John R. Angolia, "Sometime in 1944
the last version of the M-1943 field cap insignia
was introduced.
These one-piece insignia were
made in a machine-woven style in assorted shades of
silver-grey or matte grey artificial sild or rayon.
These one-piece insignia were produced on a
black background for the black armored [panzer] forces
headgear". This unissued/un-cut, machine woven
insigne features an SS-style eagle and death's head
in flat silver-gray thread on black artificial silk
background measures 5.3cm X 4cm. Examples of this
pattern insignia are pictured on page 459 of the above
reference. RARE, unissued SS insigne obtained from
the estate of WWII, 28th Infantry Division veteran

Winter
Flight Helmet Model K33

The Model K33 winter flight helmet was manufactured
without any radio gear and was designed to be used
by crews in training or by crew members who did not
need radio gear. Brown goat skin leather helmet with
white lambs wool lining shows virtually no wear
to leather or to lining. Two leather straps are provided
for securing the helmet to the head, and are attached
left and right by single prong buckles. Interior of
helmet bears the label, RB-Nr. 0/0915/5232
and is ink-stamped size 57. Beautiful
helmet in superb condition which was purchased in
Germany directly from the original owner. Exc++/Near
