This unmarked 3-piece construction cotton flag measuring 37cm x 53cm with a 21cm diameter white disc with printed swastika, machine stitched to the center of the red flag body was recently obtained from the estate of WWII, 28th Infantry Division veteran Ernest Hormann. Flag features a red cotton pole hem and flag body with minor age/staining to white disc, but no rips, tears or moth damage, and appears to be in virtually unused condition. This .800 silver, Veteran's Association plaque in MINT/Unissued condition measuring 7.6cm long X 4cm wide features a raised facsimile of Feldmarschall von Hindenburg within a circular border with the raised inscription, "DIE TREUE IST DAS MARK DER EHERE" (LOYALTY IS THE NARK OF HONOR). Beneath the facsimile is the raised inscription, "D.R.K.B.K. 2.- 3.X. 1927 BERLIN 2.Reichskriegertag" (D.R.K.B.K. 2-3 October 1927 Berlin 2nd National Veteran's Day).
