Royal Yugoslav Army Officer's Dagger. No
Maker TM. Examples of this pattern dagger appear
on pages 146-147 of A Guide to Military Dress Daggers
Vol III by Kurt Glemser. Brass hilt fittings show
minor wear/age/patina to the stylized crown pommel
and elongated "S" form crossguard. The
brown leather wrapped grip shows light surface wear/age,
but no rips or tears, and is complete with twisted,
silver wire wrap. The plated blade shows minor plating
wear on the center ridge, but no nicks to the cutting
edges nor dulling to the sharp point. The obverse
ricasso is stamped with the Yugoslav crowned, double-headed
eagle crest and the reverse ricasso is etched with
the Cyrillic, "Officer's Cooperative"
and is complete with a brown leather blade buffer
pad. The dent-free, brownish finished scabbard body
embossed with oak leaves shows light wear the highlights
of the oakleaves. The brass upper, center and lower
scabbard fittings, with upper and center suspension
ring, show minor wear and are attached to the shell
with flush mounted screws. The obverse upper scabbard
fitting features an attached nickel plated, Royal
