Royal Yugoslav Police Officer's Dagger w/Etched Blade.No maker TM. The brass hilt fittings show minor surface wear/age to the Turks knot pommel and crossguard with capstan ends, an open cross center design on quilllon block with brass buffer pad, and a reverse mounted blade spring release button. The white plastic over wood grip shows faint age with one small chip to the upper left edge adjacent to the pommel and is complete with brass wire wrap. The center ridge, double-etched blade with ricasso and scabbard release spring grades EX++ showing light surface wear, but no sharpening or nicks to the cutting edges and is complete with brown leather buffer pad. The obverse blade features a double floral design flanking a central royal cipher of King Peter II while the reverse etch features a double floral design flanking a Yugoslav crest motif. The brass, lightning bolt pattern scabbard shows minor wear/age/patina with a few minor depressions to the lower obverse/reverse and is complete with floral suspension bands with eyes and rings and a center mounted nickel Yugoslav crest. The scabbard throat is retained by two, side-mounted mounted screws. EX (25700) $950.
