Royal Hungarian Fire Brigade Dagger.

1900 - 1945, Volume I by Robert Berger. The silver-plated
brass hilt fittings show surface wear to the highlights
of the Fire helmet style pommel, fluted metal grip
and crossguard with floral pattern quillons and
obverse quillon block featuring an enameled Hungarian
crest superimposed on a large fire bomb over crossed
fire axes. The reverse crossguard features a large
push button to activate the scabbard release spring.
The nickel-plated, double edged, diamond cross section
blade grades EX+ showing light surface wear to plating
and runner marks, but no nicks to cutting edges.
The dent-free, nickel-plated scabbard features two
suspension bands featuring a fire axe over crossed
torches with two side-mounted rings on the upper
band. The lower portion of the scabbard features
