Copper hilt fittings feature raised crossed Chinese
flags on the obverse/reverse pommel with raised
sun burst and floral motifs on the copper grip side
straps which are fitted into the plain copper ferrule.
The straight, flat, oval crossguard features small
spherical tips. The medium yellow ribbed plastic
grip shows only minor age with no cracks or chips
and is complete with twisted brass wire wrap. The
grip has applied black markings simulating snake
skin. The plain, straight, double-edged, obverse/reverse
fullered blade grades EX+ showing surface wear/runner
marks with some surface speckling and a few faint
nicks to the cutting edges. Blade is without buffer
pad. Dent-free, nickel-plated steel scabbard shows
wear/age/oxidation and is complete with copper upper
and lower fittings featuring raised sun burst and
floral motifs. EX+ (26017) $325.
