.Uncleaned Early DLV/NSFK Flyer's Knife.SMF, seated king TM. Uncleaned silver-plated hilt fittings show dark, age patina with portions of factory lacquer remaining in recesses of pommel and crossguard with unmarked quillon tips. The black enamel on the crossguard swastikas shows faint wear, but no chipping. Blue leather grip shows minor surface wear with a deep, ¼"W X ¾"L scuff on the center obverse, but no rips, tears or fading to the leather and no damage/lifting to seam. Plated blade grades EX+/EX++ showing light surface wear/runner marks with uniform gray shadowing to obverse/reverse, but no nicks or damage to cutting edges, and is complete with dark blue/black leather buffer pad. Dent-free scabbard shows virtually surface wear with no rips or tears and no damage to the seam. Dent-free, silver-plated scabbard fittings show dark age patina with portions of lacquer remaining and no damage to the lower ball, or to the unturned scabbard screws. Scabbard throat is unmarked. Dagger is complete w/integral brown leather hanger complete with silver planchetand unmarked clip, with wear to leather where clip has rubbed. EX+/EX++ (26029) $1,495.
