Rare Reichsluftschutz (RLB) Aircraft Warning Service Badge. An example of the rare badge/lapel pin appears on page 188 of Katalog der Abzeichen Deutscher Organisationen 1871-1945 by Herring-Hüsken as item no. 9717b, "Reichsluftschutz Abzeichen für den Flugmeldedienst 2. Form" (Aircraft Warning Service badge 2nd Pattern). This red, white, black, blue round enamel badge measuring 27mm in diameter shows only a few tiny specks of oxidation on outer edge with no nicks or chips. Badge features a black enamel twin-engine bomber on a blue enamel background above a black enamel swastika on white enamel disc within red enamel background. Reverse badge, complete with attaching pin, shows age patina to silver finish and is numbered "25576" and maker marked "J. Preissler Pforzheim" and "Ges. Gesch." Rare RLB badge/pin.
