Romanian Aviation Cross of Merit w/Swords.
Instituted by King Carol II in 1930 this award
consists of a gilt cross with swords measuring 42.5mm
with the Romanian eagle within a shield in the center
of the cross on the obverse. The reverse cross features
the date of institution, "1930" in raised
numbers in the center. Cross shows only faint wear/age.
Recently WWII veteran estate acquired in Kansas City,
Kansas.

Soviet
Order of the Patriotic War 2nd Class.
This beautiful screw-back medal features the red cloisonné
Russian star with hammer and sickle in the center
within a white cloisonné circle. The outer
is a silver starburst with a crossed sword with bayonet
and saber. Reverse is beautiful with a nice screw-back
