NEW! Small "AH" Round Silver Serving Tray. SOLD! This WELLNER marked tray measuring 11 3/16" (29cm) in diameter features a raised concave rim with flat outer border. One side of the rim is marked with the unique stamped WELLNER swept-wing eagle clutching a wreath and swastika flanked by the block initials, "A" and "H". The underside of the platter is marked, "WELLNER" above "39" inside an impressed circle and serial numbered, "146964" on the underside of the outer border. The platter shows light surface wear/age patina with one small surface depression on the underside that is visible on the obverse interior bottom of the tray, as well as a small area of "pecking" possibly caused by knives or serving utensils. NSDAP- AUSTRIAN Gauleitung Salzburg A.H. Tokens. These tokens were issued by the Austrian NSDAP and used unofficially for monetary, advertising, services or other purposes. See pages 36 and 43 of Medallic Portraits of Adolf Hitler by R.W. Colbert & William D. Hyder for more information on these tokens. Aluminum tokens, measuring 30mm in diameter, feature on the obverse a raised bust of Hitler in profile with the description, "Der Fuhrer des deutschen Volkes" (The leader of the German people) above, and Adolf Hitler flanked by swastikas below. The reverse features a raised central device of an eagle with wreath and swastika. Above the device are the words: "N.S.D.A.P. Hitlerbewegung/Gau/Salzburg" (NSDAP Hitler movement District Salzburg).
