SS Allach Colored Porcelain Rabbit. An example of this animal figure, in white porcelain, is shown in the 1938/39 Porzellan Manufaktur Allach-Munchen Catalog as Item Nr. 44, "Junger Hase, liegend" (young hare, lying down) and on pg. 72 of SS Porcelain Allach by Tony Oliver & Michael J. Passmore. Figure measures approximately 70mm high x 105mm across the base and features a rabbit lying down with light pink shading on the inside of the ear and nose and light brown and gray shading around the dark, life-like eyes and on the upper head. The toes of the front and rear feet are also shaded in light brown. Figure is marked on the bottom with intertwined SS Runes above Allach in green within a raised octagon, and the initials of the sculptor, "K.N." and the number "44" impressed into the porcelain.
