RARE Haus der Kunst (House of German Art) Silver Flatware.
At the direction of Adolf Hitler the Haus der Kunst (House of German Art) was constructed in Munich, "the capital of the movement", and dedicated on 26 July 1937. The large, monolithic style building was designed to display and showcase the art of the Third Reich and included a public restaurant and a dining room for use by the staff and NSDAP dignitaries. This flatware was probably designed for use in the staff and dignitaries' dining room. Each piece is marked on the underside of handles with the distinctive silver hallmark of the firm Bruckmann of Heilbraun, "Bruckmann 90". Handles feature a facsimile of the Haus der Kunst logo consisting of the stylized head with helmet of Pallas Athena above an open-wing Reich eagle and flaming torch. Pieces show minor wear/age patina only.

Pieces available are:
- Salad Fork (26578A)(Near MINT) $225. SOLD
- Butter Knife (26578B - 3 available) (Near MINT) $225@.
