Rare DLV 55cm Flyer's Dagger. Paul Weyersberg, sword/wreath inside double oval TM. Solid nickel-silver hilt fittings feature circular flat-sided pommel with brass inlaid swastika as well as early crossguard with down swept wings with circular, flat-sided quillon block with brass inlaid swastika. Pommel and crossguard show minor surface wear with dark, age patina. Blue leather grip without grip wire shows only light surface wear with no rips or tears and no loss of color to the leather. Plated blade grades EX+/EX++ showing light surface wear/runner marks, minor gray speckling on upper obverse/reverse blade and some minor gray pitting near tip, but no nicks to cutting edges and is complete with blue leather blade buffer pad. Blue leather covered scabbard over stitched leather, inner shell/base matches the color of the grip perfectly and shows only minor surface wear with no rips, tears, nor creases to the leather. Dent-free nickel-silver upper, center, and lower fittings show light surface wear/age patina and are complete with all three retaining staples. Solid nickel-silver chain hanger with 8 upper and 14 lower rings shows only light surface wear/age patina and is complete with nickel-silver "Ges.Gesch" and "oLc" marked clip.
