Silver-plated hilt fittings show light surface wear and dark, uncleaned age patina to the pommel and crossguard with no damage to the black enamel swastikas on the quillon block. Tip of right crossguard is caster stamped, "K". Blue leather-covered grip shows minor surface wear with a few minor nips to leather along the seam. Plated blade grades EX+ showing surface wear/runner marks, and light gray shadowing, but no pitting or nicks to the cutting edges, and is complete with original blue leather buffer pad. Blue leather covered scabbard shows minor surface wear with a few minor nips to upper right edge and lower shell, but no major rips, tears or missing leather. Silver-plated upper and lower scabbard fittings show minor surface wear/dark, uncleaned age patina matching the hilt fittings with a few faint depressions to the lower fitting and lower ball. Scabbard throat is NSKK stamped and Luftwaffe Waffen-Amt marked, "[L] WaA 135" Dagger is without the integral leather hanger. Nice DLV knife with Waffen-Amt marked scabbard throat..
