Aluminum hilt fittings show almost no surface wear and no damage/wear to black enamel swastikas on the quillon block. Blue leather-covered grip shows no surface wear and is in excellent condition. Blade grades VG with runner marks and surface pitting and darkening along its entire length and is complete with original blue leather buffer pad. Blue leather covered scabbard shows no surface wear and no major rips, tears or missing leather. Aluminum upper and lower scabbard fittings show no wear and scabbard throat is stamped with the NSFK Ikarus.
