Uncleaned RAD Officer's Hewer. Carl Eickhorn, etched squirrel holding sword TM. The silver-plated hilt fittings show light surface wear with dark, almost black age patina and some minor lifting to the eagle head pommel, but no damage or lifting to the crossguard with RAD spade and wheat emblem. Off-white celluloid grip plates are perfect with no wear, cracks or nicks. Plated blade grades Near MINT showing minor surface wear/runner marks, but no graying, pitting or nicks to cutting edge. Deeply etched motto retains 100% of the light gray background frosting. Uncleaned silver plated scabbard shows dark, almost black, age patina throughout with minor surface speckling, but with portions of factory lacquer adjacent to the scabbard throat. Obverse and reverse pebbled panels retain virtually 100% of the original factory bluing with small depressions to the center and lower obverse and to the upper reverse just above the pebbled panel. Nice example with superb blade. EX++ (26079) $1,935. SOLD
