Nickel-plated hilt fittings show minor surface wear with no loss of plating, but with a few tiny "pecks" to the obverse and reverse crossguard and portions of factory frosting remaining in detail of crossguard. Dark brown stag horn grip plates show light age toning but no chips or cracks. Polished blade grades EX+ showing light surface wear/runner marks with minor gray shadowing, but no nicks to cutting edge. Deeply etched motto retains 100% of the light gray background frosting and reverse is marked with the RAD diamond and "Ges.Gesch." Dent-free scabbard retains 100% of the professionally repainted black enamel showing only a small surface scratch on center reverse. Nickel-plated scabbard fittings show surface wear with some loss of plating to reverse upper fitting and to left edge of lower fitting and with several depressions to the edges of lower fitting, but no damage to screws.
