Uncleaned 2nd Model RLB EM Dagger. Paul
Weyersberg, sword inside wreath TM. Uncleaned early
pattern solid nickel hilt fittings show light surface
wear with uniform yellow age patina to pommel and
crossguard with stylized RLB eagle on obverse langet.
Black wooden grip shows virtually no surface wear
with no cracks or chips, and with 2nd Pattern RLB
starburst insignia is properly pinned to the obverse
grip. Starburst shows wear to the silver plating,
with some chipping to the enamel on the black swastika.
Plated blade grades EX+/EX++ showing light surface
wear/runner marks with some gray speckling and hazing
to the obverse/reverse, but no damage to the cutting
edges or to the perfect point. Blade is complete
with black leather buffer pad. Dent-free steel scabbard
retains 100% of the period repainted black enamel
showing only a few minor surface scratches. Dent-free
nickel lower scabbard fitting shows light surface
wear with much uncleaned yellow age patina matching
the hilt fittings. Dagger is complete with the integral
black leather hanger in EX++ condition complete
with nickel-silver fitting as well as an early Assmann/DRGM
marked nickel-silver clip with specks of green age
patina. Nice uncleaned 2nd model RLB EM dagger recently
