SA Partially Ground Röhm Dagger w/Hanger. No Maker. Nickel silver fittings show wear/age, with reverse crossguard stamped Th. Beautiful grained, light brown grip with eagle and SA inset perfectly. Grip with no cracks or chips. One minor wear ding/crease in the obverse wood. Blade obverse is with wear/runner marks, some abrasive cleaning and 3 small islands of corrosion around the motto. Point which has been slightly re-shaped is correct. The etched motto is complete. Reverse Röhm inscription has been wearer ground removing 95% of the name only and all of the trademark, Couple of ding/wear hits at the point, no other age marks on the reverse. Steel scabbard body is dent free and retains 98% of the brown anodization, with period age crazing. The upper and lower nickel-silver fittings show light age/patina. The screws are unturned. The ball on the lower fitting has a slight dent. Hanger and belt loop are excellent and supple. The hanger is marked on the reverse 2/371/39, with snap ring stamped A DRGM RZM M5/8.
