Uncleaned SA Ground Röhm Dagger w/Vertical Hanger. Ed.Wüstof, Solingen, trident within double-oval TM. Nickel-silver hilt fittings show light surface wear/uncleaned age patina with reverse lower crossguard group stamped "Nrh" (Niederrhein). Dark brown, fine grained, wooden grip shows light surface wear, but no cracks or chips, and is complete with silver grip eagle and SA insert properly inset. Polished blade grades EX/EX+ showing surface wear/runner marks and gray shadowing/speckling, but no nicks to cutting edges. Deeply etched motto retains 100% the light gray background frosting. Reverse Röhm inscription been professionally ground leaving only pin prick size vestiges of four letters remaining, but no damage to the Wüstof trademark. Dent-free, steel scabbard retains much of the brown anodization which shows uniform surface crazing to the obverse/reverse shell. Nickel-silver fittings with undamaged screws, show light surface wear/age patina with a tiny depressions to the reverse lower fitting and lower ball. Brown leather, vertical hanger with plated clip grades EX shoing wear/age to leather and minor lifting to clip and is without the grip strap which has been lost to time. EX/EX+ (25300) $1,195.
