SA Ground Röhm Dagger w/Unit & Accountability Number. E. P. & S., Siegfried wielding hammer above Solingen (Ernst Pack & Söhne) TM. Nickel-silver hilt fittings show light surface wear/age patina with reverse lower crossguard SA Group marked, "Nm" (Nordmark). The reverse lower crossguard is stamped with the number "14/23403" (Standarte 14 Weapon Nr. 23403). SA Group Nordmark was located in NE Germany bordering Denmark with the Group Headquarters located in Kiel. Medium brown, oak grained grip shows light surface wear/age toning with several scratches on lower obverse adjacent to crossguard, but no cracks or chips, and is complete with silver eagle and SA insert properly inset. Polished blade grades EX/EX+ showing surface wear/runner marks with gray shadowing, but no pitting or nicks to cutting edges. Deeply etched motto retains 100% of the light gray background frosting. Reverse Röhm inscription has been professionally ground with grinding to the "P." and "&" in the E. P. & S. trademark. Dent-free steel scabbard retains approximately 98% of the period repainted brown enamel with minor surface wear. Dent-free upper and lower nickel-silver fittings show light age/patina with a depression/flattening to the underside of the lower ball. Reverse upper scabbard fitting is stamped is with the matching number "14/23403". Nice unit/accountability marked example recently obtained in Germany. EX+ (25917) $1,295. SOLD
