Early SA Daggger. Carl Eickhorn,
smooth tail squirrel within small double-oval TM.
Nickel silver fittings show minor surface wear/age
patina with reverse lower crossguard group marked
"Wf" (Westfalen). Reddish-brown, fine
grain wooden grip, with early quality grip-to-crossguard
fit, shows light surface wear with one chip on the
upper obverse adjacent to crossguard, but no hairline
cracks, and with silver grip eagle and SA insert
properly inset. Polished, mirror finish blade grades
EX+ showing light runner marks, two gray spots on
obverse where runners have rested and some gray
spotting to reverse, but no nicks to cutting edges.
Deeply etched motto retains 100% of the light gray
background frosting. Steel scabbard retains approximately
90% of the original brown anodization with minor
wear primarily to reverse and edges of shell with
one minor depression to center obverse. Dent-free,
nickel-plated scabbard fittings show light surface
wear/age with no damage to lower ball or to retaining
screws. EX+ (25922) $935.
