Nickel-silver hilt fittings show light surface wear/age patina with lower reverse crossguard SA Group marked, "Wf" (Wesfalen). Dark, reddish-brown, fine grained wooden grip with superb, early production quality grip-to-crossguard fit is perfect with no cracks, chips or surface depressions, and with silver grip eagle and SA insert properly inset. Early, mirror polished blade grades EX++ showing light surface wear/runner marks only with no gray shadowing/spotting, pitting or nicks to cutting edges. Deeply etched motto retains 100% of the light gray background frosting. Dent-free, steel scabbard retains virtually approximately 100% of the brown anodization and factory lacquer with only some faint speckling/crazing. Dent-free, nickel-silver scabbard fittings show light surface wear/age patina with no damage to the lower ball or to the retaining screws which are undamaged and appear to have never been removed. Brown leather 3-pc hanger grades EX++ showing light wear/age to leather, but no rips or tears and is complete with early nickel-silver buckle and unmarked early clip, with no rips or tears to the belt loop or grip strap.
