Unissued SA Dagger w/Double-TM,
Paper RZM Tag & RARE Metal Quality Control Tag.
RZM M7/66 1939 and etched Eickhorn squirrel holding
sword, Double-TM. Plated hilt fittings show light
surface crazing and minor surface speckling on upper
and lower crossguards adjacent to the grip. Dark,
reddish-brown, fine-grained wooden grip with superb
grip-to-crossguard fit is perfect with no cracks
or chips and with aluminum grip eagle and SA insert
properly inset. Polished blade grades EX++/Near
MINT retaining virtually 100% of the factory cross-graining
with minor runner marks/surface wear with very faint
gray shadowing, bit no pitting or nicks to cutting
edges. Deeply etched motto retains 100% of its light
gray background frosting. Dent-free scabbard retains
100% of its chocolate brown enamel showing a few
faint surface scratches, but no loss of factory
finish. Dent-free, plated scabbard fittings show
virtually no wear with no lifting or crazing and
no damage to the lower ball or to the retaining
screw. Riveted to the scabbard suspension ring is
the original, triangular paper RZM tag marked, "SA
Dienst Dolch" and ink stamped, "M7/66".
Attached to the upper grip is a RARE Eickhorn metal
quality control tag which shows several depressions
and is without the paper insert. Superb Eickhorn
combination with both paper and metal factory issue
