SA Partially Ground Röhm Dagger
w/Hanger. Anton Wingen, standing knight in armor
w/sword TM. Nickel-silver hilt fittings show light
surface wear/age patina with reverse lower crossguard
group marked, "He" (Hessen) with partial
strike to "H". Medium brown, fine-grained
wooden grip shows minor surface wear with a tiny
crack on the upper obverse SA insert and the upper
crossguad. Grip exhibits early quality grip-to-crossguard
fit and is complete with silver grip eagle and SA
insert properly inset. Polished blade grades EX+
showing light surface wear/runner marks, some light
gray shadowing with one nick to the center right
cutting edge, but no pitting or damage to the blade

of the inscription or to the Wingen trademark. Dent-free,
steel scabbard shows light surface wear to the brown
anodization primarily to the left edge of the Sshell,
with much of factory lacquer remaining. Nickel-silver
fittings with undamaged screws show light surface
wear/age patina and one small depression to the
lower ball. The brown leather hanger with nickel-silver
buckle and early, unmarked nickel-silver clip grades
EX++ showing minor wear/age to leather and age patina
to nickel-silver fittings. Nice partially ground
Röhm dagger recently obtained in Germany. EX/EX+
(26219) $2,495. SOLD
