Early SA Dagger. J.P.Sauer & Sohn (double oval TM). Nickel-silver hilt fittings show light surface wear/age patina, with reverse lower crossguard group marked "Mi" (Mitte). Dark brown oak grained grip shows light surface wear with no nicks, chips or cracks, and with silver grip eagle and SA insert properly inset. Polished blade grades exc+/exc++, showing light surface wear/runner marks primarily where the runners have rested against the blade, and some light speckling on lower reverse. Deeply-etched motto retains 100% of its light gray background frosting. Dent-free scabbard retains approximately 85% of its original brown anozidation, showing uniform wear/crazing. Early nickel-plated scabbard fittings show light surface wear with several faint depressions to the lower fitting and one depression to the lower ball.
