Early SA Dagger. OTTO SIMON, STEINBACH Kr.M in double oval TM. Nickel-silver hilt fittings show surface wear/age patina with lower crossguard group marked, "Fr" for Franken. Reddish brown wooden grip shows wear and minor surface chips with silver grip eagle and SA insert properly inset. Polished blade grades EX+ showing surface wear/runner marks. Deeply etched SA motto retains 99% of the gray background frosting. Dent-free steel scabbard shows very light surface wear/minor wear retaining 85% of the brown anodized finish. Nickel-silver fittings show light surface wear/age patina but, no damage to lower ball. However, upper scabbard fitting hanger ring is broken and missing. EX (27349) $895.
