TENO EM Hewer w/Frog.Carl Eickhorn, etched squirrel holding sword TM. Nickel plated hilt fittings retain virtually 100% of plating with much factory darkening remaining in the pommel cogwheel motif and the TENO pattern eagle on the crossguard langet. White celluloid grips are perfect with no cracks or chips and retaining screws are unturned. Polished blade grades Exc++ showing light surface wear/runner marks only with no gray shadowing/speckling or nicks to cutting edge, and is complete with black leather blade buffer pad. Obverse upper blade is marked with the etched TENO pattern eagle and "Ges.Gesch", while the obverse blade is marked with the TENO serial number, "9170". Dent-free steel scabbard retains approximately 99% of the original black factory enamel, with only faint surface specks of wear on the upper right edge of shell adjacent to the upper fitting. Upper and lower nickel-plated scabbard fittings show only light surface wear to the original brushed finish, with no dents, depressions, or damage. Scabbard throat is stamped with the matching serial number, "9170" and scabbard screws are undamaged. The black leather hanger grades EX+ showing light wear/age to leather, but with the end of the grip strapthat fits around the retaining lug missing. Nickel-plated suspension clip is Assmann marked on the reverse and double stitching shows no wear or damage.
