Personalized Army Officer Dagger. Carl Eickhorn (etched squirrel holding sword) TM. This dagger was originally veteran acquired in the state of Texas and a copy of the WWII Army veteran's letter is enclosed with the dagger. Silver plated hilt fittings show excellent detail to pommel and crossguard with only light surface wear. Reverse of crossguard is jeweler-engraved with the initials "L" "M". Orange celluloid grip shows surface wear with several hairline cracks adjacent to pommel and one small chip on upper obverse. Plated blade grades excellent with surface wear, particularly to lower half of blade with some graying and pitting also to the lower half. Brown leather blade buffer pad is present. Dent-free scabbard shows excellent detail with only minor surface wear to plated finish. Exc+ (17667) $695.
