Emil Voos Pattern Double-Etched Army Officer Dagger. No maker. Although the blade is unmarked, the quality and style of the etch are, unmistakeably, Emil Voos. Silver-plated hilt fittings show light age patina/minor surface wear to pommel and crossguard which show excellent detail. Medium orange cellulid grip shows light surface wear/age, with one hairline crack adjacent to ferrule. Plated blade grades excellent++/Near MINT with light surface wear only, and with the famous Voos pattern etch with floral motif and open wing Army eagle above oak leaves on obverse, and floral motif on reverse. Silver-plated dent-free scabbard shows excellent detail to pebbling, with light age patina and no lifting. There is one pinhead-size ding to edge just below lower scabbard band.
