Uncleaned Army Officer Dagger. F.W. Höller, thermometer inside double oval TM. Heavily silvered hilt fittings show dark age patina to the well detailed oak leaf embellished pommel as well as the RARE 2nd pattern F.W. Höller crossguard. Dark orange, age toned solid celluloid grip shows light surface wear with one tiny hairline crack on lower right side adjacent to ferrule, but no chips. Polished blade grades EX++ retaining much of the original cross graining and showing light surface wear/runner marks with only minor gray shadowing, but no nicks to cutting edge and is complete with tan blade buffer pad. Dent-free steel scabbard shows minor surface wear with dark age patina matching the hilt fittings and is complete with one center placed, flat head scabbard throat retaining screw.
