Uncleaned Army Officer's Dagger. F.W. Höller, thermometer inside double oval TM. Heavily silvered hilt fittings show dark, uncleaned age patina to the well detailed oak leaf embellished pommel as well as the exclusive F.W. Höller crossguard with excellent eye & beak definition, fine chest weave and swastika clarity. Medium orange, solid celluloid grip shows light surface wear w/one tiny chip on the upper obverse adjacent to the underside or the pommel, but no hairline cracks. Polished blade grades Exc+ showing light surface wear/runner marks and a few gray shadowing/speckling primarily along edges, but no nicks to cutting edges. Blade is complete with black leather blade buffer pad. Dent-free steel scabbard shows minor surface wear with dark, uncleaned age patina matching the hilt fittings and is complete with one center, flush-mounted, headless scabbard throat retaining screw.
