Army Officer Dagger w/Unique Grip. WKC, knight's helmet TM. Silver-plated hilt fittings show light surface wear/age patina with portions of factory lacquer/darkening remaining in the recesses of the oak leaf embellished pommel, ferrule and 2nd pattern WKC crossguard with "tomahawk" style beak design. Unique, cream colored, plaster-filled, celluloid grip with no cracks or chips is age toned darker on the obverse. Polished blade grades Exc++ showing minor runner marks to flats of blade and some minor gray shadowing/speckling, but no pitting or nicks to cutting edges and is complete with tan leather blade buffer pad. Dent-free, silver-plated steel scabbard shows minor surface speckling to edges of pebbled shell with much factory frosting remaining. There is one tiny spot of rubbing to the reverse panel below the lower scabbard suspension band. Scabbard features the post-1937 pattern single side-mounted scabbard throat retention screw as used by WKC. Exc++ (25133) $785.
