Silver-plated hilt fittings show dark, gun-metal gray age patina to well detailed oak leaf embellished pommel and crossguard with Eickhorn 2nd pattern eagle, but no crazing or lifting to pommel or crossguard. ULTRA-dark, burnt orange solid celluloid grip shows minor wear/age, but no nicks or cracks. Plated blade grades Exc+ showing minor surface "rubbing/grinding" to flats of blade and a few gray specks, but no nicks to cutting edge, and is complete with dark brown leather blade buffer pad. Dent-free, silver-plated scabbard shows dark age patina matching the hilt fittings with minor age spotting, but no lifting or depressions and is complete with the thick throat and reverse, center mounted, flat-head screw normally associated with Eickhorn 2nd pattern Army daggers.
