Uncleaned Army Officer Dagger w/Portepee & Deluxe Hangers. WKC, knight's helmet TM. Silver-plated hilt fittings show virtually no wear with dark gun metal gray patina to the oak leaf embellished pommel and 2nd pattern WKC crossguard with "tomahawk" style beak design. Medium orange grip shows virtually no surface wear with no nicks or cracks. Polished blade grades excellent++ showing minor surface wear/runner marks and one tiny nick to lower right edge with much cross-graining remaining and is complete with tan leather blade buffer pad. Dent-free silver-plated steel scabbard is covered in gun metal gray patina matching the hilt fittings with much factory frosting/lacquer remaining on scabbard edges and features the post-1937 pattern single side-mounted scabbard throat retention screw. Dagger is complete with original 42cm portepee showing light age/wear and excellent+ deluxe hangers with metal tabs. Nice, Uncleaned WKC produced dagger obtained in Germany.
