Army Officer Dagger w/Portepee & Hangers. WKC, knight's helmet TM. Silver-plated pommel, ferrule and 2nd style WKC crossguard with "tomahawk" beak design show uniform, uncleaned dark (almost gun metal gray) age patina with a few specks of crazing to the edge of the pommel. Lemon-yellow, solid celluloid grip shows light surface with no hairline cracks or chips. Polished blade grades EX+ showing light surface wear/runner marks to the flat of the blade with some faint gray shadowing but no nicks to cutting edges and is complete with tan leather blade buffer pad. Silver-plated steel scabbard is covered in gun metal gray patina with portions of factory frosting adjacent to scabbard throat. Scabbard has a minor depression on lower obverse and reverse and a few "pecks" to left edge below lower scabbard band. Dagger is complete with EX++ 42cm portepee and EX++ standard hangers with heavy silver plated fittings. Nice, uncleaned WKC example with all accouterments. Exc++ (26476) $795.
