Hitler Youth Leader Dagger w/Hangers. RZM M7/36, (E. & F. Hörster) TM. Silver-plated hilt fittings show surface wear/dark age patina to well detailed pommel cap as well as crossguard with rope pattern border which retains portions of factory lacquer on the upper surfaces of the crossguards. Tightly wrapped, twisted silver wire shows age patina with no damage or missing strands of wire. Plated blade grades EX++ showing light surface wear/runner marks, but no graying, pitting or nicks to cutting edge. Deeply etched HJ motto retains 100% of the dark gray background frosting and is complete with black leather blade buffer pad. Dent-free steel scabbard shows light surface wear black leather covering with two tiny nick to right edge, but no rips, tears or damage to the leather seams. Silver-plated scabbard fittings show light surface wear/dark age patina with no crazing or speckling, and with well detailed Hitler Youth style eagle on the obverse upper fitting. Black pebbled leather hangers grade VG+/EX showing wear/age to leather and wear/age patina to the smooth oval buckles, and RZM marked Hitler youth pattern upper clip and lower suspension clips.
