Hitler Youth Knife. RZM M7/72 (Karl R. Kaldenbach) TM. Nickel-plate over gray metal hilt fittings show surface wear/gray surface oxidation with loss of plating to obverse/reverse pommel where grip strap has rubbed and to crossguard quillon. Black bakelite grip plates are perfect with undamaged HJ emblem properly inset into obverse grip plate. Plated, blade without motto, grades EX/EX+ with minor runner marks, gray shadowing and spotting, but no nicks or sharpening to the cutting edge. Blade is complete with brown leather blade buffer pad. Dent-free, steel scabbard retains approximately 90% of original black enamel, showing uniform crazing and missing paint on tip. Scabbard is complete with black leather hanger/belt loop complete with grip strap in EX+ condition showing light surface wear/age. EX/EX+ (25776) $395.
