Hitler Youth Knife w/Double Trademark. Carl Eickhorn, stamped squirrel holding sword and RZM M7/66 TM. This Eickhorn example was recently obtained from the son of the WW II Florida veteran who brought it home as war booty in 1945. Nickel-plated hilt fittings show light surface wear with minor crazing/speckling to pommel and crossguard with a spot of wear to the obverse pommel where grip strap has rubbed. Black bakelite grip plates are perfect with undamaged HJ emblem properly inset into obverse grip plate. Polished blade WITHOUT motto grades EX with uniform surface wear/scrtatches to both obverse and reverse and minor sharpening, but no nicks to the cutting edge. Blade is complete with black leather blade buffer pad with reverse ricasso stamped "38". Steel scabbard retains approximately 85% of original black factory enamel, showing wear/crazing, one pin-head size depression to center obverse shell and loss of paint primarily to obverse/reverse tip. Scabbard is complete with black leather hanger/belt loop complete with grip strap in EX+ condition showing light surface wear/age, but no rips or tears.
