Uncleaned nickel-silver hilt fittings show dark, almost black, age patina to pommel, upper and lower ferrules and crossguard with age patina, but no damage to pommel or crossguard swastikas. Dark blue leather grip shows light surface wear with a few small nicks to leather, but no rips or tears, and is complete with tight, triple-twisted, silver wire wrap. Plated blade grades Exc+/Exc++ showing light surface wear/runner marks with some minor scratches on lower blade, but no graying, lifting or nicks to cutting edges. Blade is complete with blue leather blade buffer pad. Professionally recovered blue leather scabbard is perfect with no wear or age. Nickel-silver upper, center, and lower scabbard fittings show surface wear/dark age patina with all flush-mounted retaining screws present. Reverse upper scabbard is inscribed with the lightly, and unprofessionally executed personalization, "Feldw Alfr. Ciezior".
