Nickel-silver hilt fittings show surface wear/age patina to pommel, upper and lower ferrules and crossguard with loss of plating to background of the brass pommel and crossguard swastikas and green residue in recesses of crossguard feathering. Transitional dark blue leather grip WITHOUT wire wrap shows surface wear/scuffs and some missing and loose leather along seam. Plated blade grades VG+ showing surface wear/runner marks, minor gray speckling and several tiny nicks to cutting edges. Blade has been retipped resulting in a 5/8" shortening and ginding marks to lower 4 ½" of blade. Blade is complete with blue leather blade buffer pad. VG+ (25424) $685.
