Luftwaffe Non Take-Down Gravity Knife. SMF, seated king TM. Nickel-plated fittings, show light surface wear with minor speckling to end cap, but No lifting or pitting. Blade spring mechanism is stamped "49" with the base of the spike Waffen Amt stamped. Light brown, fine-grained wooden grip plates show light surface wear to obverse/reverse and minor depressions to right plate, but no cracks or chips and are complete with eight retaining rivets. Polished blade grades EX++/Near MINT showing virtually no surface wear/runner marks with no nicks or sharpening to cutting edge. Reverse blade is marked, "Rostfrei" and knife is complete with undamaged nickel-plated lanyard ring. EX++ (25766) $950.
