Early 1st Model Luftwaffe Dagger. Paul Weyersberg,
sword within wreath double-oval TM. Nickel-silver
hilt fittings show light surface wear/yellow age
patina to pommel, upper and lower ferrules and crossguard
with loss of plating to background of the brass
pommel and crossguard swastikas. Dark blue leather
grip shows surface wear to highlights of six of
the obverse grip swirls, but no rips or tears ,
and is complete with tight twisted, triple wire
wrap. Plated blade grades EX++ showing light surface
wear/runner marks and minor gray speckling near
the obverse tip, but no lifting or pitting, and
no nicks to the cutting edges. Reverse blade is
complete with blue leather buffer pad, but is not
Waffen Amt marked. Blue leather covered scabbard
shows light wear/age/ with a few minor surface depressions
to leather, but no rips, tears or missing leather.
Dent-free, nickel-silver, upper, center, and lower
scabbard fittings show surface wear/age patina and
are complete with five, undamaged, flush-mounted
retaining screws. Early nickel-silver chain hanger
featuring 8 upper and 12 lower rings shows light
age/wear and is complete with early unmarked, nickel-silver
