Luftwaffe Non-Takedown Gravity Knife.SMF, Rostfrei, (seated king) TM. This nice example was recently obtained from a longtime collector in Illinois. Nickel-plated hilt fittings show minor surface wear to plating with no damage or lifting. Blade spring mechanism is marked "3" and "147" with the base of the spike Waffen-Amt stamped. Light brown wooden grip plates show light surface wear with no cracks or chips and with nice wood grain pattern. Plated blade grades exc++ with minor runner marks but no sharpening or nicks and with much cross-graining remaining. Knife is complete with lanyard ring. Exc+/Exc++ (26493)
