The Eickhorn pattern aluminum hilt fittings show light surface wear with superb detail to the pommel and crossguard with factory darkening remaining in the recesses of the oak leaf pommel and crossguard eagle feathering. Pommel swastikas retain virtually 100% of the light gold wash finish. Dark orange solid celluloid grip shows only light surface wear with no cracks or chips and is complete with tight springy aluminum wire wrap. High quality plated double-etched blade grades excellent/excellent+ showing light surface wear with some minor crazing near the tip and some specks of lifting on both obverse and reverse but no nicks to the cutting edge. Blade is complete with black leather blade buffer pad. Dent-free blued steel scabbard shows surface wear to the bluing primarily to the edges of the scabbard and is complete with well detailed aluminum oak leaf scabbard bands and rings. Dagger is complete with a 42cm aluminum bullion portepee and appears original to the dagger. Dagger is complete with deluxe hangers in excellent+ condition showing light wear/age to facings and minor wear/mothing to blue/gray felt backings.
