Personalized Imperial M-1871 Double-Etched Bayonet. WK&C (king and knight head) TM. Cast brass hilt/grip and nickel crossguard show light surface wear and age patina. Plated blade is double-etched with a floral pattern with blued background. Obverse blade has center panel with raised inscription, "Oscar Voke Erinnerung an Mein Dienst Jahr 1897/98". Blade grades excellent+ w/runner marks and a few spots of graying/lifting. Red felt blade buffer pad is present. Black leather scabbard shows surface wear with one crease in the lower half. Brass fittings show surface wear, a few minor depressions, and age patina. This bayonet appears in the WK&C sales catalog as No. 79 - "Infanterie- Extra-Seitengewehr Modell 71".
