Aluminum hilt fittings show light surface wear the pommel and crossguard with no indication that the pommel and crossguard swastika were ever goldwashed.. Blue leather grip shows virtually no wear with only two tiny nicks/scuffs, but no rips or tears and is complete with tight double aluminum wire wrap. Plated blade measuring 26 3/8" in length grades EX showing light surface wear/runner marks light gray shadowing to flats of blade and one nick to the center right cutting edge. Reverse blade is Waffen-Amt stamped and complete with blue leather blade buffer pad. Blue leather scabbard shows light surface wear with several light depressions to leather on upper obverse, but no rips, tears or damage to seam. Dent-free, upper and lower aluminum scabbard fittings grade EX++ showing only minor surface wear/age and are complete with all four undamaged retaining screws. The integral blue leather, crescent -shaped hanger shows light wear/age to leather, but no damage to stitching. EX+ (25620) $1,400. SOLD
